I'm New
Hello and welcome to Casa de Paz. I'm Jose Nieves, senior pastor and we're glad you decided to visit our web page. What can you expect when we visit us on a Sunday morning? Well, we will do our best to not make uncomfortable by asking you to stand, raise your hand or wear a visitor's hat. We want you to feel at home. Our weekend services are designed to present the basic truths of the Bible and how they apply to our daily lives. We want to reflect our belief that you should not have to disconnect from the things you enjoy, the music you like or your sense of humor just because you're in church.
Our community is based on a simple truth; we believe that Christ is our source of true peace. Therefore we believe that their plan is better than ours. We believe that, wherever you are in life, there is one step you can take to experience that peace at a deeper level. Perhaps you could apologize to the coworker, return to church, or talk to the son or daughter you have not seen in a while. We want share the journey with you as your reach the peace of Christ.
These are some questions that people ask us a lot:
Does Casa de Paz has a children’s program?
Yes! At Casa de Paz we strongly believe that children are important to God. CasaKids is a creative ministry where children can connect with God through songs, games and fun. We know your child will love it. We also have a "nursery" that opens before the service for small children up to 5 years of age.
What I have to wear to go to church?
This is a question we hear a lot. We remember hearing Jesus asking someone to change clothes to talk with him. You can go to the Casa de Paz services dressed as you feel most comfortable.
